Editorial Review Process
Summit Sips strives to explain details in common terms or in reference to our previously written content. We write to share our experiences so that readers can achieve the same results that we do. Content is researched, often through historic and original sources. Products and homemade ingredients are tested and tried, recipes compared and results are carefully photographed.

Ethics and Corrections
We strive for accuracy and always describe creative adjustments or substitutions, giving credit for recipes and ideas where that information is known. If ever there is a correction needed, we make the adjustment the moment we become aware of a mistake or discrepancy. Writing about alcoholic beverages is a responsibility we take seriously. Summit Sips advocates quality over quantity in the pursuit of unique and delicious flavors. We ask our readers to always drink responsibly.

The Shop
The Summit Sips Shop is an ever-changing personal collection of antique and vintage cocktail items that we have made available for purchase. The vast majority of these items are cocktail glasses that have been collected from a variety of second-hand sources. Unless otherwise noted, everything in the shop is used and often old, showing typical signs of wear. Although nothing in the store is broken or chipped, based on the age of many items it should be assumed that they are not new and may have tiny scratches, water marks or other signs of use which add to the items’ character and vintage appeal. That said, every item available meets or exceeds a level of quality we feel would allow you to proudly display and use with discerning customers, guests, friends and family.

Shipping
We hand pack items to protect them during shipping. Once an item leaves our care it is up to the shipping carrier to ensure your purchase arrives safely and intact. While we do our best to pack delicate glassware to prevent this, accidents do happen. Should damage occur during shipping, please contact Summit Sips immediately so that we may remedy the situation. Although we process your order as quickly as possible, we cannot control the timing of delivery.

Returns
We make every effort to photograph and describe items with great detail, and many items include a gallery of additional images. It is our hope that thoroughness up-front helps customers understand exactly what they are getting. However, we recognize that mistakes happen and even the best descriptions cannot account for everything. Upon receipt of an item that does not meet your expectations, please contact Summit Sips so we can arrange a return and refund the item’s price.

It should be noted that in addition to the Shop, Summit Sips also lists a growing number of items on Etsy.com. If you’ve used Etsy you know that they have a great reputation for original artwork and vintage or antique items. We will continue to grow our presence out Etsy and hope you will support this exciting marketplace.
