Every so often you find a beauty. This is an example. The shape is tall, graceful and delicate. The rim is thin but the bowl is deep and the stem feels sturdy in your hand as it swells from the base where it is thin to a hefty piece of glass and becomes the bowl. The glass is iridized, so it scatters light in a rainbow of colors—like a soap bubble. The pictures probably don’t do justice to this effect, but it really makes these a sight to behold. The lip is thin but drawn in from the outside allowing the shape of the bowl to protect it from chips.
